IDF troops carried out a large-scale, 48-hour counterterrorism operation in the Qalandiya Camp and Kafr ‘Aqab area.
During the operation, Israeli forces apprehended wanted suspects, questioned dozens of additional suspects and searched hundreds of locations.
Troops also uncovered and confiscated weapons and other military equipment, including handguns, explosive devices and ammunition.
In a separate operation against Hezbollah infrastructure, Israeli forces dismantled an underground tunnel shaft that had been used to store weapons.
The weapons discovered included Kalashnikov-type firearms, missiles, anti-tank launchers, artillery weapons and RPG rockets.
The operations highlight Israel’s continuing effort to prevent terrorist organizations from maintaining weapons stockpiles and infrastructure that could be used to threaten Israeli civilians and troops.
