IDF Finds Hezbollah Weapons Depot and Destroys Underground Terror Tunnel in Southern Lebanon

Israeli forces located Kalashnikov rifles, anti-tank rockets, Hezbollah launchers, and other military equipment in the Srobbin area. Troops also dismantled an underground tunnel used by Hezbollah to prepare attacks against IDF soldiers.

IDF troops uncovered a Hezbollah weapons storage facility in the Srobbin area of southern Lebanon containing Kalashnikov rifles, anti-tank rockets, launchers, rockets, and additional military equipment.

Israeli forces also located and dismantled an underground tunnel extending for dozens of meters. The IDF said Hezbollah used the tunnel to support its operations and prepare terror attacks against Israeli soldiers.

The discovery provides further evidence of Hezbollah’s continued military activity in southern Lebanon and its use of concealed infrastructure near Israel’s northern border.

Israel cannot allow the Iran-backed terror group to rebuild attack positions, weapons depots, or tunnel networks in the area. Hezbollah’s military infrastructure must be removed to protect Israeli communities and IDF forces.
