IDF troops carried out a targeted operation at the home of the terrorist who infiltrated the community of Negohot in Judea and Samaria and was eliminated earlier on Saturday, according to a joint statement by the IDF and ISA.

The terrorist was identified during the infiltration into Negohot and killed in a rapid response by security personnel, bringing the incident to an end without further casualties.

Forces operated near Negohot

Following the attack, IDF soldiers, acting under ISA direction, operated in the Khirbet Fuqeiqah area near the Negohot community, where the terrorist lived.

The forces conducted a targeted raid on the residence as part of the follow-up operation after the infiltration attempt.

Weapons and military equipment seized

During the search, soldiers located an improvised weapon and additional military equipment at the residence.

According to the joint statement, the materials were intended for use in terrorist attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians.

The operation formed part of the wider security response following the attempted attack on the community.
