The IDF said troops operating in the Saluki area of southern Lebanon identified two terrorists who it said violated the ceasefire understandings, crossed the Forward Defense Line and approached Israeli soldiers, posing an immediate threat.
According to the military, the Israeli Air Force carried out a strike to eliminate the two suspects after they were detected moving toward the troops.
IDF says troops continue operations in the area
The military said soldiers are continuing efforts to dismantle Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon as part of ongoing operations aimed at removing threats and locating weapons.
Military vows continued enforcement
The IDF said it will continue to act against any threat to Israeli civilians and to troops deployed in the area.
