IDF troops operating in southern Lebanon located a Hezbollah anti-tank missile cache, underground infrastructure, weapons and explosive devices during ongoing operations in several areas, the military said on Saturday.

The announcement came shortly after Hezbollah launched explosive-laden drones at Israeli troops near Qantara in southern Lebanon, with the IDF calling the attack another blatant violation of the ceasefire understandings.

Anti-tank missile cache found in Hezbollah facility

According to the military, soldiers of the 146th Division operating in the Shiite Ridge area located an anti-tank missile cache inside a Hezbollah weapons storage facility.

The IDF said the missiles were intended to target and harm Israeli troops and civilians.

Additional weapons and infrastructure uncovered

In separate operations, reserve soldiers from the Paratroopers Brigade located and dismantled Hezbollah military infrastructure in the Stadium neighborhood of Bint Jbeil, together with the Yahalom combat engineering unit under the command of the 98th Division.

The military said the structures had been used by Hezbollah for military purposes.

Elsewhere, soldiers of the 8th Brigade under the 91st Division located an underground shaft and Kalashnikov rifles, according to the IDF.

The military also said troops from the 769th Brigade found explosive devices planted inside a structure and in a vehicle used by Hezbollah for terrorist purposes.

Fresh Hezbollah drone attack near Qantara

A short while before the announcement, Hezbollah launched explosive drones toward IDF soldiers operating south of the Forward Defense Line in the Qantara area of southern Lebanon, the military said.

According to the IDF, the drones detonated adjacent to the troops. No injuries were reported.

The military said the attack was another blatant violation of the ceasefire understandings by the Hezbollah terror organization.
