Islamic Jihad Terrorists Behind October 7 Atrocities and Planned Attacks Eliminated in Gaza

The IDF announced the elimination of two Islamic Jihad terrorists in separate strikes in Gaza. One took part in the October 7 massacre and commanded the abduction of Israeli hostage Inbar Haiman, while the other was reportedly advancing terrorist attacks against Israeli forces operating near humanitarian aid distribution centers in southern Gaza.

Islamic Jihad Terrorists Eliminated in Separate IDF Strikes

The Israel Defense Forces announced that two Islamic Jihad terrorists were eliminated in separate operations in the Gaza Strip.

According to the IDF, Taher Ahmad Salem Abd al-Wahed, a terrorist in the Islamic Jihad organization, infiltrated the Nova music festival during the October 7 massacre. The military said he commanded the abduction of Israeli hostage Inbar Haiman during the Hamas-led terrorist attack.

In a separate strike, Israeli forces eliminated Salah Subhi Salah Qatrawi, another Islamic Jihad terrorist. The IDF said Qatrawi was attempting to advance terrorist attacks targeting Israeli troops operating near humanitarian aid distribution centers operated by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) in southern Gaza.

Continuing Counterterrorism Operations

Israel continues operations against Hamas and other terrorist organizations in Gaza, targeting individuals involved in the October 7 massacre as well as operatives planning additional attacks against Israeli forces.
