According to the IDF Spokesperson's Unit, updated defensive guidelines took effect Friday at 4:00 p.m. and will remain in place until Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. Under the new policy, the entire country is under full activity levels with no restrictions, except for frontline areas where gatherings will remain capped at 1,000 people until Saturday, April 18, at 8:00 p.m.
The military said that restriction will also be lifted Saturday evening, clearing the way for a full return to unrestricted activity nationwide.

The Home Front Command said the decision followed an ongoing situational assessment and stressed that further updates would be issued if conditions change.
