Trump Vows Powerful Response After Iran Targets U.S. Base in Jordan

President Donald Trump vowed a powerful military response after Iran reportedly launched a surprise ballistic missile attack against a U.S. base in Jordan.

Speaking by phone with Fox News on the 29th, Trump used blunt language to warn that Tehran would be hit hard. He said the United States would respond forcefully and that Iran would face serious consequences for targeting American forces.

U.S. Forces Intercept Iranian Missiles

Trump said American personnel had only minutes to respond to the incoming attack but successfully intercepted the missiles before they reached their targets.

U.S. Central Command said Iran launched multiple ballistic missiles toward American military positions in the Middle East and that U.S. forces successfully intercepted all of them.

Possible Resumption of U.S. Strikes
