US and UAE to Launch First Bilateral Military AI Task Force

The United States and the United Arab Emirates are launching the first bilateral task force focused on accelerating military artificial intelligence.

Task Force Talon Synapse will be based in Abu Dhabi and include approximately 20 American and Emirati experts in AI, data, and cybersecurity.

The team will develop applications supporting military intelligence, critical infrastructure protection, and regional threat monitoring.

Faster military innovation will help the United States and its allies confront terrorism, Iranian aggression, and other emerging security threats.
