U.S. Enforces ‘Steel Wall’ Blockade Against Iran as Carrier Operations Continue

U.S. forces continue enforcing America’s “Steel Wall” blockade against Iran, with 59 commercial vessels redirected, three disabled and two boarded as of August 12.

U.S. Forces Enforce Blockade

As of August 12, U.S. forces had redirected 59 commercial vessels as part of enforcement operations. Three vessels were disabled and two others were boarded to ensure compliance with the blockade.
