IDF Eliminates Hezbollah Terrorists Attempting to Escape Underground Tunnel Network Beneath Beaufort Ridge

Hezbollah terrorists hiding inside an underground tunnel network beneath the Beaufort Ridge tried to escape after being spotted by an IDF drone. According to the IDF, the terrorists opened fire at the drone before fleeing through the tunnel system. Ground forces tracked their movements and directed an Israeli Air Force strike that eliminated the operatives. Israeli troops continue clearing the extensive tunnel network, which the IDF says was planned and financed by the Iranian regime. Forces also uncovered a large weapons cache, including Kornet anti-tank missiles, RPG launchers, mortar shells, grenades, anti-aircraft machine guns, and Kalashnikov rifles. Israel continues dismantling Hezbollah’s terror infrastructure and denying the Iran-backed terror group the ability to threaten Israeli communities.
