Hezbollah Missile Launch Fails as IAF Strikes eliminates terrorist in Southern Lebanon
The IDF says Hezbollah terrorists tried to launch a small surface-to-air missile at an Israeli aircraft earlier today while the Israeli Air Force was supporting ground troops in southern Lebanon. The launch failed. There was no damage and no IDF troops were injured. The IDF says the Air Force quickly closed the circle and struck a suspect who fled the launch area on a motorcycle. The Air Force also intercepted suspicious aerial targets near IDF troops operating in southern Lebanon. According to the IDF, no alerts were activated in line with policy. The IDF says the Israeli Air Force continues to operate over Lebanon, helping ground forces in both attack and defense. In a separate incident, Hezbollah launched several explosive drones toward IDF troops in southern Lebanon. No IDF troops were injured.
