MarineTraffic data show only eight confirmed vessel crossings on July 16, down from 15 the previous day. Seven vessels used the Iranian route, while no traffic was recorded along the Omani route. No shadow fleet movements were detected, and half of the vessels were Iranian-flagged. The slowdown suggests ships are operating more selectively through one of the world's most critical maritime chokepoints, highlighting continued caution across this strategically important waterway.
