First Operational Fire: IDF’s New “Ro’em” Howitzer Used Against Hezbollah Targets
For the first time since entering service with the IDF and the Artillery Corps, the “Ro’em” howitzer carried out operational fire. In recent days, the Artillery Corps’ 282nd Fire Brigade used the new system to support maneuvering forces in the north, striking Hezbollah targets from which fire was directed at Israeli troops.
