IDF: Terrorists Who Helped Transfer More Than Half a Billion Shekels to Hamas Eliminated in Southern Gaza
The IDF announced that last week (Wednesday), Israeli forces struck in southern Gaza and eliminated Hussein Qadra and Mohammed Fara, terrorists affiliated with Hamas's military wing and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. According to the IDF, the two operated within a Hamas-run financial network responsible for transferring funds into the Gaza Strip. Qadra, who headed the network, along with Fara and other operatives, acted under the direction of Hamas leadership and helped transfer more than 500 million shekels (over $130 million) to Hamas's military wing. The network relied on dozens of couriers and money changers operating in Turkey and the Gaza Strip. The IDF said these funds enabled Hamas to continue paying salaries to its terrorists and financing attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF forces, particularly in recent months, in violation of the ceasefire agreement.
