The IDF announced that it eliminated Abd Harb, Hezbollah’s engineering unit commander

The IDF announced that it eliminated Abd Harb, Hezbollah’s engineering unit commander, in a strike carried out last week. According to the IDF, Harb led Hezbollah’s engineering operations responsible for assembling and deploying explosive devices intended to target Israeli forces operating in southern Lebanon. He was also a senior and long-serving Hezbollah commander linked to numerous terror attacks against Israeli troops dating back to the Second Lebanon War. In a separate operation Thursday night, the Israeli Air Force destroyed a Hezbollah rocket launcher that had been used to fire rockets at IDF forces in southern Lebanon. Israel continues to target Hezbollah terrorists and infrastructure to prevent attacks on its troops and maintain security along the northern border.
