Hezbollah Leader Admits Israel Cannot Be Broken in Direct Military Fight
Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem admitted that the Iran-backed terror group cannot defeat Israel in a direct military confrontation, saying it is “impossible” to break Israel’s power “army against army.” IDF Arabic spokesman Avichay Adraee responded by saying this may be the first true thing Qassem has said.
Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem made an unusually blunt admission from Lebanon, acknowledging that the terror group does not have the power to defeat Israel in a direct conventional war.
Speaking ahead of Ashura Day, Qassem said that comparing Hezbollah’s strength to Israel’s military power would not be honest.
“If I want to compare the power of the resistance to the power of Israel, and say that through the power of the resistance I want to defeat Israel—then I am not speaking correctly.”
He added that it is “impossible” for Hezbollah to break Israel’s power “army against army.”
IDF Responds: Israel Does Not Break
IDF Arabic spokesman Avichay Adraee responded sharply on X, saying Qassem may have finally told the truth.
“Naim Qassem, it seems this may be the first time you’re saying something true—contrary to your habit. Yes, Israel does not break.”
Adraee said Israel’s strength comes from its military power, national unity, combat doctrine, and firm will to defend itself against terror organizations.
Iran’s Orders Led Hezbollah Into Disaster
Adraee also accused Hezbollah of dragging itself into a disastrous confrontation on Iran’s orders, despite knowing Israel’s military, intelligence, and technological capabilities.
He said Hezbollah can no longer claim it did not understand the consequences, noting that the terror group knew exactly what it was facing.
The IDF spokesman concluded that Hezbollah’s old “spider web” theory has collapsed, while Israel remains strong, stable, and determined to dismantle the terror group’s lies and threats.
